Schleich is a German toy brand founded by Friedrich Schleich in  Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany and has been creating toys to inspire imagination and creativity since 1935. 

Schleich creates a wide variety of animal toys out of non-toxic PVC made usually in Germany that are then hand painted in China. Schleich focuses on the quality and safety of all their toys having all of them meeting European Safety Standards 2009/48/EG, the DIN EN 71 and the international Toy Standards ASTM F963-2008.
